How We Work
Most clients start with a flat-fee financial planning project, so the scope and cost are clear upfront. After the plan is delivered, we can either wrap up there or continue working together on an hourly, as-needed basis.
Fee-Only
Transparent Pricing
No Account Transfers | No AUM Fees | No Commissions
Step 1: Financial Planning Project
(Flat Fee)
A 3 to 12 month planning engagement that results in a clear, customized financial plan and a prioritized list of next steps.
This is a good fit if you want a comprehensive plan with clear priorities. After the project, we can wrap up there or continue with hourly support as needed.
Your plan may include:
- Tax planning
- Income and retirement planning
- Investment strategy and portfolio guidance
- Insurance review and estate planning coordination
Flat fee starting at $5,000, quoted after the introductory call based on complexity and the topics involved.
Step 2: Ongoing Support
(Hourly, As-Needed)
After the plan, many clients come back for implementation help, periodic check-ins, or new questions as life changes. There’s no ongoing contract, just support when you want it.
Common reasons clients book follow-ups:
- Tax strategy updates and planning conversations
- Portfolio withdrawal and retirement income guidance
- Insurance and estate planning check-ins
- Investment advice aligned with your goals and risk tolerance
For investment advice, we generally focus on diversified, low-cost strategies that fit your risk tolerance. When appropriate, we may also recommend individual U.S. Treasury securities.
Hourly rate: $375/hour (billed in 6-minute increments). Total cost depends on the time required.
One-Off Consultation
(Hourly)
Have a specific question or want a second opinion? We offer hourly financial planning consultations.
One-off work typically starts with a 2-hour paid engagement so there’s enough time for prep, the meeting itself, and follow-up. If we finish sooner, you’re billed only for time used.
Common topics include budgeting, retirement savings decisions, investment strategy questions, and tax-related planning.
Hourly rate: $375/hour (billed in 6-minute increments). Total cost depends on the time required.
